Journey doesn’t track you.
Recovery is personal. Reading about it should be too. We built Journey so anyone can pick up the magazine, visit the site, or take the Recovery Basics Course without leaving a trail. No profiles. No retargeting. No data sold to anyone, ever.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics to see high-level traffic patterns: how many people visited, which pages got read, what country or region the visits came from. That’s it. We look at the numbers in aggregate so we can keep making the site useful. We don’t tie any of it back to you as an individual.
What we don’t collect
We don’t build reader profiles. We don’t track you across other sites. We don’t sell, rent, or share data with advertisers or partners. The Recovery Basics Course requires no login and no email. The Recovery Directory is open to anyone.
When you give us your information
If you subscribe to a newsletter, submit a story, or contact us by email, we use that information only for the reason you gave it to us. Newsletter signups go to our email platform so we can send the issue you asked for. Story submissions stay between you and our editorial team. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information at any time.
